Sydney Summertime is a new outdoor concert series in Centennial Parklands, bringing international and Australian artists to the heart of Sydney. The Strokes open the series on Saturday 20 February 2027, with more shows to be announced soon.

Great food and drink are all part of the experience. Expect a line-up that celebrates the best of Sydney's hospitality scene: handpicked restaurants, gourmet food trucks, cellar doors pouring the best of NSW wine, and destination bars open all night.

Make it your own with a range of ticket experiences, from General Admission and Gold Circle to The Grove, The Terrace and our private Suites.

Centennial Park sits just minutes from the Sydney CBD, between the city and the eastern beaches. You'll find us on the Brazilian Fields, in the park's north-west corner.

Sydney Summertime opens with The Strokes, the first show of the series, with more to be announced soon.

Doors open at 4.15pm. Want to get in a little earlier? Selected premium ticket experiences include early access. Either way, come early and settle in for a long summer evening. Headline acts finish by 10pm sharp.

The Strokes is 16+ only. Patrons aged 16 or 17 must attend with a responsible adult (max two per adult); no patron aged 15 or younger admitted, including with a parent or guardian.

Sydney Summertime will be a cashless event - the only way to purchase food and drinks is with your debit, credit or prepaid credit card via contactless and mobile payments.

Paying by mobile or tap-and-go makes your night smoother. It's safer for everyone and lets our bars and food vendors serve you faster, so you spend less time in line and more time enjoying the show.

We want everyone to have a safe and easy night, so a few things need to stay at home:

• Alcohol from outside the event
• Glass bottles, containers or other glass items
• Illegal drugs or illicit substances
• Weapons or dangerous items of any kind
• Fireworks, flares or other pyrotechnics
• Open flames
• Drones
• Laser pointers
• Professional or commercial audio or video recording equipment (unless authorised)
• Animals, except accredited or lawful assistance animals

Security and venue staff may also refuse anything they consider unsafe, unlawful or disruptive.

Umbrellas, large bags, chairs, cameras, food and reusable bottles may have extra restrictions for each show. Bag sizes and entry requirements will be shared on our official channels before each concert, so check before you head out.

Staying hydrated? Bring an empty, non-glass reusable water bottle to fill up at our free water stations.

There's no application form. Each Sydney Summertime lineup is shaped by that night's headline artist, so the support acts are chosen with them in mind.

That said, we're always keen to hear from new artists. Send us a note at info@sydneysummertime.com, and if we think there's a fit, we'll pass your details on to the right person so they can get in touch with you directly.

Every Sydney Summertime concert gives you a choice of ticket experiences across a range of price points. From the energy of General Admission to elevated viewing and premium hospitality, you choose the experience that suits you.

Tickets for The Strokes - Reality Awaits at Sydney Summertime on Saturday 20 February 2027 go on sale 1pm AEST, Tuesday 29 September with presales commencing Monday, 28 September. All tickets are available through Moshtix, our official ticketing partner.

Tickets are available through Moshtix, our official ticketing partner. Payment available on VISA, MasterCard, American Express, ApplePay, GooglePay, PayPal, PayPal Pay in 4, Afterpay and Moshtix Gift Voucher.

Please choose carefully. There are no refunds, credits or exchanges on tickets, except as required by the Live Performance Australia Industry Code of Practice. Incorrect purchases aren't guaranteed a refund. Want peace of mind? You can add Secure Tickets when you buy through Moshtix. It lets you apply for a full refund if you can't make it because of unforeseen circumstances like illness, injury or travel trouble.

Only buy through authorised provider Moshtix or another officially authorised channel. Tickets from unauthorised resellers/scalping sites may be cancelled with no guarantee of entry. Official resale facility (if offered) will be published on the show's Moshtix page and official channels.

Accessible Viewing tickets are the same price as General Admission, with no extra cost. Each accessible ticket also comes with one free essential companion ticket for Companion Card holders.

If you hold a government-issued Companion Card you may be eligible for a complimentary ticket for your companion (18+). Your companion will be eligible for an equivalent ticket type as the paid ticket holder.

To access Accessible and Companion Card tickets please:

Buy your paid ticket to the event through Moshtix as usual.

Once your order is confirmed, go into your Moshtix account, under Manage My Tickets and select 'Get Help With This Order'

On the help form, follow the prompts for accessibility and companion card.

On the Help form, select 'I'd like help with my order' as the category, and for the Topic, select 'I need help with accessibility or a companion card'. For the subtopic, select 'I need help booking with a companion card'

In the message section, please provide your Companion Card number and Expiry.

Once verified, Moshtix will issue a complimentary Companion Card ticket to match the paid ticket to the email used for your original purchase.

‍This is applicable for both GA and VIP options; however, VIP companions will not receive any physical inclusions.

Here's what you'll find onsite at Sydney Summertime:

• Free drinking water stations (bring an empty, non-glass reusable bottle to fill up)
• Food and drink precincts, with Sydney restaurant pop-ups, gourmet food trucks, local producers, cellar doors and destination bars
• Cashless payments at all bars and food outlets
• Regularly serviced toilets, including accessible amenities
• An info booth with all the event info you need
• Official Sydney Summertime merchandise
• First aid with trained medical staff
• Security on site from gates open to close
• Dedicated accessible viewing areas, with accessible toilets
• Trained accessibility staff on site all night

Heading to The Grove, The Terrace or The Suites? You'll also have access to premium bars, premium flushing toilets, shaded gardens with seating, concierge service, a Grove merchandise outlet, and a cloak room and phone charging.

Absolutely! Grab something to remember the night by. Official Sydney Summertime and artist merchandise will be available onsite, and online before and after each show.

Where the grass is greener, the air is too. Smoking and vaping are only allowed in designated areas and where the law permits. Look out for the signs and follow Sydney Summertime crew's directions.

Absolutely. We want everyone to have a great night and get home safe, so dedicated medical and security teams will be on site from gates open to close. If you need anything, just find one of our crew and they'll look after you.

Illicit drugs are prohibited at Sydney Summertime. Anyone found supplying, using or in possession will be removed from the site and may be referred to police. If you or a friend feels unwell, head straight to our medical team or find one of our crew. They're there to help, no judgement.

Once you're in, you're in for the night. There's no re-entry, so if you leave the concert site you won't be able to come back in.

To keep everyone safe, all guests and bags will go through a security check on the way in. Bag size limits may apply, and we'll share the details before each show, so pack light and check before you head out.
